To everyone in pothole land with the 25 series tires on the rear, how are the wheels doing? The way the 22 inch wheels look, if I can't get the 22's I'll stay stock. Or can I get 30 series in the rear?

if you do a 245/30 in front and a 295/25 in the rear the sidewalls are almost exactly the same height. Run the tires at 42 to 44 psi and you should be fine. I have had 30 and 25 series tires on my GS and LS460 with no issues at all at any time and I even travelled to LA several times with no issues

i have the same tire sizes and i have gone through some rought roads. i have had no problems so far through the 5000 miles ive had the rims on so far. you shouldnt be afraid of the small tire sizes. i was scared at first but im really confident with them now.

Good to know. I have had wheels on all my cars and that road vision we develop over timr helps to anticipate pothole damage and we swerve and straddle over the potholes accordingly

I'm running 245/30/22 on my fronts and 295/25/22 on my rears. I ran over just about anything and these wheels hold up just fine. I just took them off today to re-balance them and they're still in great shape.

Hey, for you CV1 and 82 owners, what offsets do you have front/rear? Any rubbing?

I did it and I couldnt be happier. The 3GS was just not built to the same standard .....at least in my experience. My GS had rattles in the sun roof and dash and had a trunk that was tiny. The LS is on another level

that's funny, my 600h does the same (rattles in the sunroof, dash, and now the b-pillar trim around where the seatbelt comes out). sigh.
