Default cheaper alternative to LS460L?

It may be sacrilege to ask this on a Lexus forum, but are there any less expensive sedans that would satisfy my criteria? They are: i) ample rear legroom, ii) soft suspension, iii) seats on the firmer side of things. I've tried a bunch of cars, and haven't found anything yet except the LS460L. It seems ridiculous to me that I need a flagship luxury car to get what appear to be basic comforts. Is there anything else out there for me?

The Hyundai Equus looks like it might be a viable alternative. I have to say I'm impressed with their iPad owners manual.

Ya go with preowned, all of these big luxury cars depreciate like mad the first couple of years.

Thank you all for the input. I've tried the Avalon, and I found the seats too mushy. I haven't been in an Equus, but it appears it's only available RWD, which is a problem for me here in the snowbelt. So it's back to the LS460L, which isn't going to be cheap since I'm going to have to get a 2009 or 2010 to get AWD.

I'd get the Avalon if there's something I could do to "firm up" the seats. Does anyone know of a fix in this regard?

Buick LaCrosse? Lots of interior room, firmer seats IMO and available in FWD or AWD.
