Negotiating with dealer on 2007 LS460
So Im in the process of buying an LS460 and have found what I think is a really good deal. I hope! The situattion is this...
2007 Lexus LS 460 (White/Tan) with only 22,571 miles. Dealer is asking $42,865 with Comfort package. LEXUS CERTIFIED = three year COMPREHENSIVE WARRANTY from your date of purchase or 100,000 miles.
Kelley Blue Book Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) Value is $43,775; Edmunds's True Market Value (TMV) is $43;431 TMV represents estimated market transaction values; not dealer asking prices.
With all said and done I have 10,000-12,000 Cash down and finance the rest. Looking to pay 40K OTD with taxes and fee's. Am I Dreaming?
Thanks Guy's!!

If the dealer is asking $42,xxx, you should have no problem getting them down to $37,500 straight or even less. And then take your 10k-12k trade/cash and that should bring you down to wayyyy below $30k financed. You should remember its both the end of the month AND the end of the year, so they really need the number to meet their sales quota more than they need to make substantial profit on the car. If your anything like me you will really low ball them and make them give you the car for $34k out the door before you put a single dime down. Good Luck!
