if your suspension goes wild, of course you want to take out the unit before going in.

You can drive it all the way down on stock wheels without any rubbing but i wouldn't do it. Driving with the bags fully deflated will damage your shocks when you hit bumps because there's no cushion. You also might have the risk a deflated bag moving around, binding, then possibly rip from making contact with metal.

I only drive slammed if I'm cursing slow in a parking lot or around the block.

The levels on the DataSystem at 1-8 and then "L" level. There's also a button on the car to make it even higher.
012345678L +H
Preset from M1-M5
Here's the wheel gaps that i have set for each preset. I don't know why but I've always measured wheel gaps by sticking my fingers in there instead of getting a measuring tape. Each finger gap is about half an inch.

Presets...........................................Front-Rear
M1: 0-0 + H Fingers wheel gap 6-4
M1: 0-0 Fingers wheel gap 5-4
M2: 2-0 Fingers wheel gap 4-4
M3: 6-4 Fingers wheel gap 2-1.5
M4: 8-6 Fingers wheel gap 1-0
M5: L-L. Fingers wheel gap 0.5-Tuck2.5

If my parents take the car its on M1 or M1 +H with shocks on Normal
If I'm driving with my chic i ride on M4 and shocks on comfort
If I'm alone daily driving it I'm on M3 with shocks on Sport
If I'm cursing the streets I'm on M4 with shock on Sport
Parking lot flippin' I'm on M5

Good to know, ive done the 8 front and 6 rear but mine is AWD and it feels bouncy, just wanna make sure i wont damage em by riding that low, its only while cruising tho. Imma take a look at my controller again, didnt know it had the L level.

That's because in 8 your shocks are almost fully compressed. I drive very careful when I'm in M4.
Pretty much only in areas that i want to be seen slammed. Car shows, meets, and busy areas where I'm not driving fast.
The "L" had to be unlocked but i forgot how i did it. It was a long time ago.

Thanks guys, my friend Jason ordered it from Vertex for his car and never installed it before he sold the car. He offered it to me first so i bought it. It was a perfect fit.
