Looking for recent Manheim Auction pricing for LS460's...

In the market for a 2008 or 2009...Any good bad experiences using a broker?

Can buy a 2009 super clean LS460 with 10K miles and extended warranty for $55 from a individual...but that price seems high...thoughts?

Good luck on getting one through Manheim. While the prices are decent, the cars are usually pretty beat up. If you have access to their website, you can look at the pre-sale inventory that includes a 1-5 rating with detailed pictures of the issues each car has. They are pretty comprehensive in their analyses. Even some of the higher rated ones I would question buying because I am picky but I have had luck there when I bought my IS300 years ago.

Yep, couldn't agree more.
It's basically a crapshoot out there but sometimes you get luck (operative word sometimes -- more like rare...)
Better to deal with private party long time owners who have maintained their Lexus as it should.
Clean with no drama / no stories.
Unlike most at the auction

Interesting that there are no SWB 2009's...not ready to come off lease till year end?

I couldnt wait any longer and picked up a loaded 2009 LS460 with 4,900 miles from a MB dealer that was about to send it to auction. Offered wholesale price with help from a buddy that owns a Acura dealership and they took it after a day of haggling just to get it off the Benz lot at year end.

Those 2010's on the list look interesting...wonder what color...

Looks like there are no cosmetic issues with this one except for a dent/scratch on the trunklid but it doesn't look too bad. Very clean car and most of the 2010's look pretty good since most have less than 10k miles on them.

Wonder why Toyota and Lexus Financial are sending the 2010's to auction? It is my understanding that the dealerships get first dibbs on corporate cars. If that is the case that means the dealerships passed on these two 2010 LS460's. Carfax info might offer a clue...
