i think it's still early to see any solid long term reliability on lowered air ride on the ls460, but from what i read on the ls430 ul, i don't see any noticeable problem. i think i have seen 1 or 2 ls460 owners here with defective air suspension. can't remember exactly, but i think one stock and one with air controller?

I recall reading a post from another member that his LS was fully lifted on one side and the other side remain the same. He posted a picture and it look like one side was on hydraulic. He removed the air controller and took it to the dealer to get fix.

Good info.
The 430 section has a poll re: Air issues
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...sues-here.html

Seems hit-miss the suspicion is that as the 460's age, might have a similar take. With the 430's adjustable coil units are common so there is an alternate route to take. The reason I am interested is because I tend to hold cars a for good spell so one of these scenarios is one to keep in mind.

personally if you ask me, i don't think the air will be under significantly more stress with the controller. now of course, the shock might go out sooner, but i suppose that's replaceable by itself (never looked into it)

if the wheels were gunmetal and the paint were a dark silver or something it'd be perfect. The kit looks pretty good. I like the front bumper the most. Not a fan of the Hybrid's grille though. Looks more sporty than slammed, which IMO is the way to go! Slammed is ok, but that's not for me, Lexus cars should be 'low riders' but Sport Sedans!

I like the wheels but don't live them. I think what would set them off is a black chrome lip since the car has the darkish theme.

Hahaha "Slammed" your not serious are you?

Those wheels are the worst choice, does not suit the car at all, This whole car just does not flow.. Being different does not always work well.

Different wheels and a lower drop will make this car a whole lot better looking.

I Love the whole set up.... it takes guts to be different.. dont let the lack of vision of others take away from what u've done... i had people say the same thing when we built a matte black bentley.(a few yrs ago) now matte black "everything" is the norm. in a yr all these followers will be like how awesome is that...

keep up the great work... we need more leaders less followers!!!!

Do it right.. & Do it 1st!!!!!
