I know that there are some reports the Michelin Pilot Sport Plus A/S tires drift as well? Are they asymetrical?
I'm getting ready to replace the original tires at 15,000 miles not because of tread life but because I can't stand them. I've never driven on tires that hydroplane as much as these - very unsafe.

I have a 2009 Ls 460 l Dealer is telling me I have outer bald spots on 2 tires due to not driving the car for long time. I only have 3 K miles.
What do you guys suggest I do? which brand is good for high heat summer.

that dealer should be slapped. Sounds like they might have sold a car with the bare minimum wear, you drove 3k miles and it wore the remaining tire..

I have the Continentals on my car right now ( 245/30/22 and 295/25/22) and love the tread wear rating, the tread design, and ride quality. They dont ride as quiet as the Bridgestones (18") that the car came with but almost. So far I am very happy with them and will be getting another set. My car tracks perfectly straight with these tires. I will admit that the Micelins Pilot sport AS plus was the best tire I have ever used.

FYI These tires will cause the LS 460 to 'drift' or 'pull' to the right. Their asymetrical design is the probable cause.
I chose these tires over the Michelin Sport A/S Plus because these tires have a better tread-life rating, handle better in the snow, are very quiet, handle very well on dry and wet roads and are cheaper.
I went through two sets of brand new tires and two alignments and couldn't correct the problem. I'm going to keep them because the ride, handling and tread-wear seem great, but for those of you that need perfection, these may not be the ones for you.

I just had an alignment and the service guy said the asymetrical design of the tire is partially to blame for my pulling issues.

I just ordered some DWS tires from Discount Tire's online site.
They had a $30 online discount plus a $40 mail-in rebate going.
They'll install them Wednesday.
The four 235/50-18's came to $744 + inst and life time rotation/balancing + tax, then the $70 off helps some more.
Looking forward to them.

I just put on the Turanza Serenity s and could not happier, man what a quiet tire. I pulled off the Dunlops and there is just no comparison.
Thanks to jlawr and others for the good feedback and write ups. I ended up at $217.00 each, here in So Cal, for the 235/50R-18s
