Noise on Startup
I have a 2007 LS460, and ever since the car was new I noticed that when the car is parked for more than a few days and I start the car, there is a noise that only lasts for a few seconds, it is as if the valves or lifters do not have any oil lubrication. Once the car has been driven it will not do this again unless it is parked for more than 1 day, I am using fully synthetic oil and this car has less than 10K miles. I also have a IS350 and I do not have this problem. Has anyone else noticed this with their car?
I have checked with my dealer and they are not aware of this problem with the LS, I know that some IS models have a problem with this and there is a fix for that which involves taking the upper part of the engine apart

Gordy35: Are you sure your not hearing the Mechanical Fuel Solenoids for the Injectors, catching up with the Electric Fuel Pump. One way to tell, would be to hit the Start Button, with your foot off the brake (i.e. dont fully start the car) and turn on the Electrical System, but wait until you hear the Fuel Pump do it's normal 3 second prime, and then start the car. Any difference?

I will try that, but it sounds like when valves do not have any oil on startup. And if I drive the car everyday it does not do it, just when the car sits without starting for a day or two. The sound that I hear is like a clacking noise
