While listing to XM suddenly the audio system produced a high pitch beeping noise. Called dealer while driving and asked if I could bring the car right over since I couldn't stop the noise while the car was running. They called me back and told me it was the amp, and they will remove fuse to stop the noise. Anyone heard of this problem?

i Got this problem once..... i brought it in to the dealer and they were saying that the Amp or something like that is broken......then you just have to wait for parts then it would be repair very quickly

yea, we get alot of them...look on the pass. side up under the dash close to the kick panel. you should see a fuse box. pull the top off and there should be an 30amp fuse for the AMP. just pull it out, its a kinda yellowish color, and its about the size of a sugar cube lol. you wont have a raido but the beep noise is gone until you get a new amp!

funny story- i work at a Lexus dealer. and one morning driving to work. i see a LS460L come flying by. must have been doin at least 60-70mph. (45 mph zone). so i get to work and i notice the car in the service lane. then i got the RO for it. lol he was from out of town and it had been beeping for like 2 hours. lol no wonder he was hauling ***! lol.
