Clocks changed today but my sexy 2013 460 analog clocked that is linked to GPS won't change - any suggestions?

Wondering if the DST feature is inoperable. I spent a few minutes trying to figure it out in my 2009this morning.

Default LS 460 Clock Problem?

My LS 460 clock did not switch back from DST. DST is ON, and auto adjust is also ON. I turned off auto adjust, and could not adjust time manually.

Does Lexus have a software problem? I have noticed that my clock has not been synced to GPS time.

You doing this in your garage? You need to turn the DST off, set the Time Zone appropriately and be outside so you can receive signals from the GPS constellation.

I've tried turning off DST and manually adjusting the time with no luck. I've driven for a day and still no clock change. Seems like a hardware or software problem. Who's idea was it to go back to an analog clock???

I was outside the garage. I have noticed that my clock has not been synced to GPS time for several weeks, even though the auto adjust is ON along with the DST ON.

I will state again, it will not even let me adjust the time manually.

What model-year is your car? Is it equiped with GPS navigation?

Mine is a 2013 460. I am experiencing exactly the same situation as jmcraney. Spoke to Lexus Customer Care. They know nothing of the problem and suggested going in for servicing. I think they have an unresolved technical glitch.

Default Clock

After going to setup, touch clock icon, then your screen should state DST ON. Press the line that states Daylight Savings time and should state ON/OFF. Press the OFF icon and it should reset automatically. I did mine in the garage. If this does not work, then it is time to see the dealer. I have had three Lexus vehicles and never had an issue.

For anyone who is confused about how to set the clock:

If you want your clock to auto-adjust, using the GPS signal, you need to provide three inputs.

First, you need to select the Time Zone for your location. On the older models you do that by Selecting the INFO hard key in the left switch cluster. Then you select he Adjust Clock soft key in the upper right corner of the touch screen. Then select the appropriate Time Zone for your location.

Second you need to set the Daylight Savings Time appropriately. We are currently observing Standard Time in TX. Standard Daylight Savings Time ended yesterday at 2:00 AM and for most of the United States DST ended yesterday. The correct setting on the Adjust Clock screen for the DST is OFF. You should leave it set this way until DST returns in the Spring and then the correct setting will be ON.

If you want your clock to be adjusted by the GPS then select the Auto Adjust on the Clock Adjust screen. Once the system receives the GPS time signals it will adjust and remain accurate for a long time even if the GPS signals go away.

There is a service bulletin for this issue on 2013 LS460s. This applies if changing the DST or manually changing doesn't change the time. Call your local dealership. TSIB L-SB-0085-13
