Default Arizona Nav Override

Could anyone advise if there is an installer in the Phoenix or Tucson area for the override?
I have read conflicting opinions as to the degree of difficulty involved. Is it something that could be attemted by a less than mechanical genius?
Thanks for any advice.

i didn't know much about taking dash apart before, ls460l was my first tackle (talk about taking risk on a 80k car...). it took me like 2 hours the first try, but i made it. patience is the key imho

Default Instructions

Can someone post instructions on how to take the dashboard apart? I would like to hook up external monitor to my unit, but I'm afraid to touch it.

Thanks for posting a link, but I was hoping that if someone has already done the NAV upgrade, which I assume comes with instructions, could just post the part that talks about taking the Head Unit out. I don't really care about rest of the NAV override instructions, just how to take the radio out.

well the posting the instruction would be infringing copyright. but here's a snapshot. you can play around with the car to find the details

take off panels beside shift plate
pull up shift plate
take out ashtray
unscrew sides and pull out radio
unscrew bottom and pull out nav

Thank you. This will be sufficient.
