Wow that is pretty cool to be able to park next to the President's car.

You're probably right that the specialized versions for the royal family cost a whole lot more, probably lots of upgrades. I liked the leather sourced from same companies as Rolls Royce. Agreed it should be more regal, I wonder how that will straddle the line between more traditional looking and the sleek L-finesse style.

Ah, so that's what those devices are at the upper tip of the headlights---flag holders.

You can see the port side one in the large picture as well.

I do. You can even see some pics from today here:

PS. The guy standing next to it is the driver. The car was a gift from LEXUS to the president. He always drove a MB.

That's one frozen IS!!!

I read that Iceland is moving towards a very environmentally friendly posture, reducing emissions etc., which is probably why they accepted Lexus' gift of an LS hybrid. More efficient and comfortable--for a limousine.

Thats right. Toyota rules the market in Iceland so it was about time the president was riding a car from them. Also the s class and the bmw e65 7 line suck compared to the LS. I am not saying the german cars suck cuz i own a bmw, but in the limo class the LS outstands them all.
