I have a question about the button that resides next to the recirculate button (I am calling it the super air filter button). When I used to push it the car automatically went into recirculate mode and then would release approximately a minute later. Now I push it and the car stays in whichever mode it is at the time I push the button (either normal or recirculate - AKA it does not automatically switch to recirculate mode). I personally like it to turn on the recirculate when I push the Super Air Filter Button because usually I don't want to smell the outside and I like how it automatically releases after a minute or so. Is this a setting that I can change?

The button to the left of the recirculate button is called "pollen removal mode" and it is supposed to switch automatically to recirculate whenever you press it, just like you said. And usually the system will switch itself off after 3 minutes.

However, when the outside air is cold, the pollen removal mode will not switch to recirculate, and the system will usually cancel after 1 minute. This seasonal adaptation is built into the system IIRC cannot be changed--it reacts to the outside weather. So since it's winter right now, the system is reacting to the cold weather outside and operates differently...it is working as it should based on what I know. The A/C is in 'winter mode.'
