I did a file recovery using the software suggested by SZERBY

I did get about 6 files back but the 2 zip files were empty

I didn't expect anything anyways but it was fun trying

umm, i don't know. i know 07 works, 08 works. 07 with 7.1? i haven't done any

i hope 07 with 7.1 (upgrade) will be tested soon

but you can never predict future updates.

Per Mark of PS in another thread, a unit is being shipped today to an owner in Texas who has an '07 that has been upgraded to 7.1.

Depending on how soon it gets installed, we should know soon.

As for future updates to the software, Rom is right ... so those of us with the override might just be real reluctant to update!
