Default To Pinstripe or not to Pinstripe?

That is the question.

I got the call from my dealer today that my LS460L is in. I picked the Noble Spinel Mica/Cashmere. I'll post pictures once I take delivery.

So what do you all think, Pinstripe or no pinstipe?

A lot of answers to your question HERE

Congrats for the new car. Can't wait to see your pics. That's one of the top colors I would consider.

I had the dealer take the pin stripes off my car. They put them on by mistake.
I would not put pin stripes on any car.

Don't get it especially if you have to pay for it.

I would not get it for sure, I saw one with the pinstripe and did not like it at all.

Please no stripe....it will add nothing to the car. I had to take some off my other car once, no fun.

Its all a matter of personal taste as to whether to get them or not. Do whatever you like, it doesn't matter a bit what anyone here does or does not like.

I saw a 460 with them and it looked good. The only thing it was 3 stripes, the 2 outside stripes one color and the inside stripe a different color. I think just 2 stripes the same color would have looked better, but hey, its his car and he did what he liked.

Pinstripes are way too 80s and early 90s. We're in 2007. No pinstripes please.

I take it back, it might look good if they can add the vinyl top and the spare tire on the trunk.

HELL NO! Pinstrips cost like $20 bucks and they charge like $200 for only about 10 minutes of labor, biggest aftermarket ripp off... Looks so damn cheap!

OK! OK! I got the message loud and clear. NO PINSTRIPE. Thanks for the reality check.

It's your car but I haven't had pinstripes since the late 80's. And never on a Lexus.
