My brief test-drive of the LS600hL
Sorry that I cannot disclose any information on how I had the chance to, but I got my hands on a LS600hL, because I know someone who test drive cars for car magazines..
In short, the engine is VERY VERY quiet, something like 2 dB haha. Unless you punch it hard it is very quiet. It is FAST.
I didn't have my camera with me, so I had to go home to get it, and go back to take some pictures before I head to school. I was going to get the keys again to get some interior shots, but I don't want to step into the office again. So here you go.

very nice, thanks for the pics. This may be a dumb ? but what is the purpose of the blue on the inside of the L emblem on the trunk. Does that signify that its a hybrid or something?

It's the Neiman Marcus Launch Edition judging from the wheels, so it's the Truffle Mica.
I've seen this color in person several times (it's available with the 460 & 460L in Canada) , I think the car looks very nice with it.

Yes I think it's just to differentiate it as the hybrid model . . . notice the letters "600h" on the LS600hL emblem are blue too . . .

Is the blue on the L-Emblem always like that, or is it illuminated? When you look at it it kind of looks like its lit up, which would be a cool attention to detail.

Those wheels dont look to bad. Not as good as the optional 19's, but better than those awful stock 18's.
How did it drive? Did it feel like it weighed 5,000lbs??

can you tell us more about the driving? power, handling, dynamics? any comparison with ls460l, if you drove one before? how about the interior? i know it's almost the same as the normal l, but the dash is full leather
