I considered a Jag XKR, but went with the LS 460 (don't ask).
One reason I shied away from the XKR was Jag's reliability. My wife has an S-Type that has run flawlessly, but I wasn't sure if that was just an abberation.
The salesman did quote the JD Power ratings regarding owner satisfaction, I guess he was right.

This JDPower Initial Quality Study (problems in the first 90 days of ownership only) does not necessarily reflects long(er) term reliability.
Remember, reliability is only one of several categories in measuring "quality".
