Arrow Pics - New 20" Chromed Wheels

Hey everyone...so many of you have really helped out by posting pics of things that I thought I should return the favor for the several things I have done to my car if you want to evaluate for yourself if it's for you or not. I decided to finally go get my new rims installed last night...and I'm happy with them. I've received a lot of compliments. I think the pictures give an idea, but true representation of the rims only comes in person. I had it done at Longo Lexus and they did a good job. Forge-Tec was also very helpful. Their rims are both lug and hub centric since they are built specific to the specs of the LS.

Pictures were added later within this post (see below). Here is other technical info about the wheels, tires, etc.

1-piece, 20" FORGE-TEC (FT58) Aluminum Forged Wheels
Tires: Yokohama Advan Sport 245/40/20
Tires have a good ride and low noise and are $383 each @ Tirerack.com. Treadwear rating is 180
Go to http://www.forge-tec.com to see the company that makes the wheels
(There are 2 other rim choices you can view online . All 3 choices come in 19" and 20" sizes.)

Just a couple of FYIs...a Clear Bra is on this car along with the Clear Bra light kit which covers the clear plastic areas. I know I was interested in seeing pics of how the bra looked before I had one installed so hope this will help for anyone considering. On light colors, it's hardly detectable at all. Also, windows are tinted medium all the way around.

License plate will soon be changed to: CAR ADCT

Hope everyone is enjoying their cars!

The wheels look great! I had the factory wheels chromed. Are they hard to keep clean?

The rims are pretty detailed and are more of a challenge than a wide spoke style or those with more of a solid surface. However, chrome cleans very easily with soap and water and a high pressure hose nozzle. Surprisingly, they are pretty easy to wipe down to dry as well.

Fortunately, for the LS vs. my former BMW 745i, the LS has very little brake dust...BMWs have a lot of brake dust which immediately makes your rims go black. Because these also do not have a lip, most of the surface space is narrow and does not collect much dirt.

That's great! I've owned 3 BMW's and agree, they have a lot of brake dust. My last BMW was a 2000 M5 and you couldn't keep the wheels free of brake dust... I was going to purchase a new X5, but they're full of problems...
