Default Tire Burning on Speed's test of the 460s

I assume many of you have seen the Speed Channel test of the 460s in which Tommy Kendall and Paul Tracy race around Willow Springs raceway. At one point when they first get in the cars, they both do side by side smoky burnouts. I watched closely and it seemed that both rear wheels of the cars were smoking. I was under the impression, however, that the 460 does not have a limited slip differential. Motor Trend beat up their test car in a similar fashion and showed the rubber streaks in the road that appeared to be one sided.

Anybody know when you turn off the big brother control and power brake these cars, whether they burn both or just one tire?

If just one, I may have to rethink my purchase- how would one wheel peel look down at the Dairy Queen on Saturday night? Even my 6 year old would be embarrassed.

Thanks for the info- sounds like "limited slip" to me.

That drawing looks like a Torsen mechanism which is used in a lot of Four-Wheel drive systems, like Audis for instance.
