Lexus Reply To Wind Noise
Three weeks ago I e-mailed Lexus customer service in regards to the wind noise issue. Yesterday I received an e-mail back from Lexus stating that at this time there is no repair. I would urge all other owners to contact Lexus customer service in regards to this matter.I still believe that this is an amazing car and it is enyoyable to drive.

Three weeks ago I e-mailed Lexus about the wind noise issue. Yesterday I received an e-mail back from Lexus with an apology for taking so long to reply to my previous e-mail, they asked if I would send them the VIN off of my car and they would get back with me. Well I got their response and much to my surprised they did not say there is no wind noise, they did not say what I was hearing was normal, they did not say take the car in and have the drain holes in the mirrior reduced, they did say that at this time there is no repair and that they were sorry that I was dissatisfied with the wind noise and they would file my concerns as this may be of some help to them in the future.
I am happy that they responded and would advise all who are concerned about the wind noise issue to let Lexus know how you feel. The wind noise is not that big of a deal to me and knowing what I know if I were to buy a car today I would still buy the LS460, I guess you might say I am willing to take a little wind noise over something that I can not drive because it is in the service department more than it is in my garage.

I read on another thread about someone who mentioned to put the window all the way up then tap the down button quickly to move it down just a small bump and sure enough the wind noise went away.
It seems that the window goes up a little too far which seems to push it out just a little and when you move it down that little bit it lets the window fit into place better. It seems to work with both front windows. Not sure if this is an issue for the rear.
BTW I have the LWB
