Default Is this car a LS600hL?

I saw this car last weekend on vacation in L.A. Do you guys think it's an LS600h?

I have more (and bigger) pictures if you want them. They had a RX chase car.

It could be judging from the wheels(bad angle though). If you have more pics, post them up

if it was just last week, it most certainly could be because why would they cover up a perfectly nice LS460 that has been out since september...a picture from the front would be perfect

i hope the real ones will come with less duct tape

thats quite a journey for the car...perhaps they wanted to test out highway mileage...

Those wheels do look different than the standard 9 and 5 spoke wheels...

But it's not the "Launch Edition" wheels either...

Perhaps the "regular" 7 spoke wheels for the "regular" 600h? I THINK THIS IS IT!

I'll post a few more pictures tonight. Couldn't get a good shot of the front, sorry. It's hard to shoot & drive at the same time

Please post them up anway, they probably will be good enough for us to tell.
But as mentioned, if the pics are so recent, there's little reason for the masking tapes if it's just a regular LS460L ...

I think you guys are reading waaay to much into this. The only thing that is taped on that car are the word "Lexus" and the Lexus logo. The model number is always on the right side. Since there is no model number at all on this car, it would be pointless to even cover up the rest if you were trying to hide it's identity. Either someone's jacking with your mind, or the car just had some work done on it.

Looks like a 460 to me. You just can't tell from the angle whether it's a LWB or not.

well, then why cover it up if it's just lexus and L? and you can see that there are stuff underneath. my guess is something else on this car that's different from the other LS on the road, maybe headlights, maybe the side skirt, that would make people wonder what this is, so they are trying to cover it up

matt, just post up everything you can, who knows maybe we can see something

It's probably a 2010 Toyota Avalon.
