Has anyone posted pictures of the 460 and 460 l side by side?

Good question, I have seen the 2 publicity photos of them side by side, those are rather artistically shot.

Here are 2 screengrabs from the LS Overview video over at Lexus.com. They have an LS 460 morph into an LS 460 L at the same location. The 2 cars have identical overhangs on front and rear, and more subtle differences which make it a bit more difficult to tell them apart vs. their Teutonic counterparts, IMO.

Thank you for the photo's. It seems as though the only difference is the rear door is wider on the Long version.

No problem!!! Yes the easiest way to tell is the rear door. The back seat space on the LS 460 is large and comfy, but the LS 460 L has it extra large and often with extra features.

I recall there is one photo where all 3 LS variations, the LS460, 460L & 600hL are in the same photo together, can't seem to find it now though . . .

yes, the extra 5 inches go to the rear seat area, so the doors are larger
