Rain? Rain? You drove your new LS460 in the RAIN? The '99 GS400 I had was in the rain five times in five years, none of which were intentional.

Yikes, I wish! Up here in the Pacific Northwest, cars will endure months of showers before that strange, glowing orange ball re-appears in the sky and heats the land.

"The car definitely handles and performs better than the LS430 but I do not think it is as quiet as the LS430. "

Mallory, I think you are right. At the beginning, I also cannot believe the new 460 is not as quiet as the 430. However, if you are really carefully listen, you will found that this is the fact. Even the sales in here tell me this is their feeling also. The noises comes from suspension, windows(thin glass cause outside noise can easily comes in) & the wind noise in highway.

I just have the 1st service & found that afterward the noise is even getting wores. I can hear small engine noise in Park position(A/C off). When I adjust the lumbar support of the seat, it will have woooooooooooo sound.

Mallory, I don't know what you consider to be too old but I'll have my first SS check shortly and I still love cars as well.

You have some more wheel options at Tire Rack and Discount Tire. If you like chrome just filter the others out on their site and I think you will find something you like. Congrats on your car.

Yeah I'm with Patric, I love cars as much as I did when I was 5 years old!! Glad you are enjoying the new car. For wheels you may want to consider 19" brushed aluminum as well (its a good balance between flat silver and super shiny chrome!)
