Default Who's gonna do it?

The LS460 appears to be a hit in the making. Everytime I see one I swoon. The modder in me imagines it with 20's. I can't help myself. No car looks good with small wheels imo. Let me be more political. Every car can benefit from filling the wheel wells. Especially a luxo barge. The LS is big but still sleek. I can't wait to see one in person with a nice set of wheels. So the question:

Who's gonna be the first to go big?

The rougher and louder ride is not a problem with the right tires. Michelin PS2's baby. Yes they're expensive. The assumptionis if you can afford an LS460, you should be able to handle the best tires money can buy. I guarantee 245-40-20 or 245-40-19 deliver a very nice riding car.

Maybe not after all...at least not too big. I just saw a thread on another site that says the car has a warning on it not to exceed 19 inch wheels. Good thing is 19 is big enough to deliver the bling. Plus, that pretty assures keeping a good smooth ride.

i agree tires play a huge factor on the ride quality. and rougher ride does NOT mean more rattles.

Rominl, you planning on pulling the trigger on an LS? Someone with the bravado to put nice wheels on it? Now I have to be patient and wait to see it.

wow I thought I would find at least one modded LS460 on cardomain.com.

lol there is only one LS460 and its completely stock.

wasnt there something else that prevented large wheels from going on the new ls? something that physically wouldnt let wheels larger than 19's or 20's on there? I think I read that somewhere.

In south florida, old people buy nice big wheels too.
Last week I met an over 55 guy was putting 22's on his Conti GT and S550. I've seen grandma looking ladies on 20's. You never know.
