Default Stock 19 wheel

I am now having a Black color 460 with stock 18 wheels. It is not so good looking i think. Now thinking to change to stock 19 wheels. Any comments on this 19 wheels & any indea stock tyre model, is it still Dunlop Sport MAXX?

Any idea on the price to buy in US. I check in Japan & the price is ~US$ 2,500 FOR 4 pcs.

Just worry the comfort for 19 wheels since the stock tyre noise of 18 is not that good(235 50 R18). If change to stock 19(245 45 R19) may be the nosie will be even bigger.

Any comments from you guys?

In the U.S. at least you can't put the stock 19s on the an LS that doesn't have the touring package with AVS, bigger brakes, and modified suspension stops to make room for the bigger rims.

I don't know that. In HK, we only have 2 version SWB & LWB. All comes with 18 wheels only. However, we do have AVS as standard but not so sure for the High Firction brakes or not.

If you have AVS you should be fine w/ 19' BUT try first at your local car shop.

Yes that could be it.

I just noticed that in most markets where AVS is standard there is an stand alone option of either 18' or 19' rims. Even in Japan you can get accessory 19' for base LS460 and LS460U (LS460S already comes with five spoke 19')

US spec LS is rather unique since it doesn't even offer AVS as an option on SWB model and it is not even standard on LWB, so suspension that is non AVS is definitely different than the one with AVS. But there is a chance that Lexus developed two types of AVS suspensions... who knows

Here is the suspension with AVS

There is no way I can try 19 in the dealer here. They don't provide that option. I can only order in from parallel import & it cost US$2,500. Any guy are using 19 now? How about the silent perfromance? What kind of tyre Lexus use for 19? I may need to order the tyre from Japan also since no suitable silent tyre can be fit from local tyre in here

My dealer guy said I can't install the 19" wheels on my car because everything is different. He also said Lexus did that on purpose - why I don't know. Annoying.
