I went to see my son and his neighbor has an Audi A8L. He came across the street and shook my hands and congratulated me on my new car. Said he read all about it and was impressed. Nice gesture on his part. I also complemented him on his car.

While driving on the Southern State (LI, NY) Parkway a S500 pulled up beside me and gave me the thumbs up. I waved and thought that was cool also.

Just goes to show that a real car enthusiast will acknowledge a good car no matter what make it is.

Did I mention I love my car???

I am taking it in tomorrow to have the Lexus Link fixed. Will let you know what happens

That is a great feeling. This car is so new in Pittsburgh that when I drive it down the street it is the first time people have ever seen it in person. Lots of pointing and such. Of course I am drooling over it also.

Good to hear that dfiorito! Many people that I talk to about the Ls460 end up being very impressed with it... and I'm not only talking spec/features wise, but most have given Lexus kudos for styling.
I remember when we got our LS430 a couple of years ago, it was the same thing, thumbs up left and right! So I know how you feel lol.
