Wow that looks so inviting!!!

btw I read elsewhere that there was a rear door closer option...sort of like the trunk open/closer...is that true?

I wonder if the 600h L will get illuminated scuff plates...

These pictures are lovely, thx for them!

Integrated headlight cleaner like the GS

It looks like Lexus has a home run going here...

I like everything except those terrible wheels. They are too cheap looking and small and does not go with a Lexus. Lexus are puting lame base wheels on their cars. THe wheels are not as good as preview generation Lexus. This is the same for the base wheels on the GS300 which looks lousy. I wonder why Lexus does not put effort in designing good wheels.

Yes it appears so. The current one you have to manually close it to within about 4 inches to activate but the new one opens and closes completely on it's own.

You need to do that ^^ while the car is standing still ?
I thought you should avoid turning the steering wheel while the car is not moving. Doing that too frequently would wear out your front tires faster . . .

Lovin that L version

I agree, those ugly wheels got to go. Lexus is pretty weak with their wheel selections

And that stupid "I agree not to sue Lexus" button
If I need to push that help button, I think it'll be faster for me to park that thing already

And the final question................."How does it drive Liz?????????"

Yes it's for parallel park assist. I guess when you have money for this car, new tires won't matter?

Well there are bad drivers out there who will claim any silly lawsuit. I once had a customer tried to get us to pay for damages when she crashed her car because "the pedals are too close together".

I didn't drive, just hitched in passenger seats and played with everything. The parking lot you can't drive faster than 10 mph, safety issue. It wouldn't be cool if you crashed the car making the tour.

Partly thanks to you. I used the batteries you gave me for my camera. Finally figured out my charger wasn't working properly.

omg........... i just spent the past 10 mins looking at every single pics in details and i think i am going to read this thread couple more times...... this is just completely insane...... i don't even know what to say.... the car is freaking gorgeous and in black color the car is just completely sick!

i think this is one of teh production units already. it's only 3 months away from hitting showroom, they need to have inventory. plus they have both swb and lwb ls460 there, and both of them are black. i don't think so far i have seen a black ls460.

so it's true that this car doesn't have memory seats for teh passenger again? wtf is wrong with lexus? there must be a reason why they never do it for the car, but i just can't imagine why. i don't think space could be a reason right? and keep in mind, sc430 has it!!!!!!!!!!

i just talked to liz right now, no there is no auto rear door close as far as she knows. just the auto seal like they have on the current ls430 already. i guess we will find out for sure later

yes i am kinda disappointed that the door sills don't light up like the 2is. i hope the ls600hl does!!!! and maybe it's mod time

the headlight cleaner is a very nice touch. one complain i have about my sc430 is the headlight cleaner being too obvious, doesn't look good at all. but then again, it's not something i will ever use (i think) so having it integrate is great

the navi looks very nice. liz, did you test it out and see if it's any faster than the dvd versions? but seems like they do have more details with the hdd nav!

and the rear leg rooms are so huge!!!!!!!!!! damn this is going to be one super comfortable car...... i can't wait, another 3 more months!
