Nice to hear the BMW 7 is working out for you.
I think my list of "interest" is as follows in order of ranking TODAY:
1. Audi A8L W12
2. LS 600 (not sure about the hybrid)
3. BMW 760li
4. S600
Regarding the mpg question - Yes, I'd like to see a better mpg and it will factor into the equation.... just not top of the list.

The last LS from lexus wasn't the best flagship but it came damn near close to it. Lexus has been building cars for less than 2 decades and they have already surpassed so many other historical luxury brands such as caddy, lincoln some even say Audi. Lexus wants to be on the top and their fighting for the throne at all cost. Last year they sold more cars than any other luxury brand by a long shot (300plus thounsand). The LS is on its way to sucess quickly as the better of the top five lux flagship sedans. The dealer told me that lexus upped the quality of the 460 cabin by 40% giving better leather less plastic and a ton more technology, some of it never even heard of before. The lexus brand is quite youthful in design and performance. and it want be hard to out do M-Benz and Bimmer once they learn to allow there performance features to overcome its saftey nannies (stability, traction and anything else that slows down when your having fun in the curvy hills.
