Not a bad looking car. ( providing, of course, that the pictures we've seen are the actual production car.....I'm not sure that has been determined yet ).

I can't say I'm wild about it, but it does look reasonably good. My only complaint with the pictures as shown is that IMO the car looks too much like both the new GS and IS. Lexus should differentiate their flagship a little more.....especially if, as planned, they want to do a $100,000 version of it to compete with the Mercedes S-Cass.

well they already said long time ago about the L-finesse mentality, so all cars carrying the same "feel" makes a lot of sense

and imho they give you the same feeling but they look different enough to me

better than all the mb lineup. i can tell between them any day, but most people including my wife all mb looks the same.

Cool

I have to see it in person before passing any judgement. Looking forward toward meeting the LS 460!

Have to see it first. Production vehicles are normally a very toned down version of the concept. So I may love the concept and dislike the final product.

Yes, it's definately more toned down than the LF-S . . . I'd be interested to see what the grille looks like in the final production version .

I'm inclined to like it...though I'll have to see how it will be in production.

Slight nitpick: Only a few years ago, Lexus brochures noted that Lexus eschews the "family look" dynamic of other makes.

That said, I think the new LS will be successful in wooing younger buyers, but Lexus may run the risk of alienating their older customers, who might feel more at home in a more understated-looking sedan.
The front end's similarity with the Avalon certainly doesn't help the car's pedigree...
