Only detail that remotely resembles 7-series is rear window angle. And that's the only thing. Remember when first 3gen GS pics came out. Then all the "look alike specialists" said that rear end looks like nissan maxima, front like mazda 6, side like 5-series etc. We all know now that all this talk is crap and that 3gen GS is unique and beautiful.

It breaks new ground for the LS while remaining safe enough for the current loyal buyers. I bet the interior is incredible.
I think they did a damn good job, I didn't expect anything avant-garde. There is a family resemblence yet they all do look different.
With hybrid tech, there is pretty much no reason to buy anything else. I am sure the LS will drive a lil sportier too.

wow what a beautiful car!! I think this design is a breakthrough for Lexus. It's the first LS that looks sporty, classy, elegant, and significant at the same time. Past LS's look somewhat stodgy and conservative in comparison. This car is much more beautiful than the 7 series!!! Great job Lexus!
