Perhaps it will just be called LS500 or LS600? I wonder if the $100,000 super Lex is a streched LS with a bigger engine and more features?

I see what your saying but the competition is offering some great new products and the competitons quality is improving. This 100k sedan will seperate Lexus totally from the Lincolns, Acuras, Infinitis, Volvos etc (especially as they love the down market).
People will have no choice but to think Benz, BMW, Lexus (what the current media and auto experts see as the big 3).

an entirely new vehicle which will definately not use the LS name. We'll have a lot more
choices at the Lexus dealer with a standard length base model LS then a stretched LS
which should bridge the gap between the LS and the new ultra sedan.
If Mercedes can offer this type of variety, then why not the richest car company in the
world (Toyota)?

Great to hear the rumor confirmed, though.

Just imagine... The LS is half of the price of the other cars its beating. If you get twice the car for half the price I wonder what $100,000 will get you. Perhaps... perfection?

That statement couldn't be any more true.

Also, anyone have any guesses on what letter designation this model may carry. Lexus
seems to have used up all the good ones in the alphabet. It has to end in "S" for sedan.
CS600
TS600
BS600...no, that's no good
VS600
RS600...to common
DS600
It's a tough call
