Aragosta coilovers for LS430, with cups too!
It is with a heavy heart I post these for sale: Aragosta coilovers, with cups too!
These are some of the best parts ever!
It's a well known fact that everyone loves cheap coilovers, y'all know those. A few of you might know what coilovers are used on real sport cars, that actually go on the track - Ohlin, AST, Penske, etc.
Unfortunately, none of these are available for LS430. Except that crafty Japanese people figured they can take AST shocks, and rebrand them. Also they like to add random vowels to their words, hence Aragosta, essentially rebranded AST.

Now, what's the big deal, you ask, I can buy brand new coils for a grand, why these are ¥ 340,000?
http://www.tpl.co.jp/aragosta/jp/dat...sp.html#Toyota
Well coz they real deal, doh, but that's not all.
Like proper shocks, they can actually be rebuilt! With new seals and oil they are essentially brand new again!
These shocks have just been rebuilt and revalved by Stuart F. Maxcy of the MaxcySpeed - paid about $1000, have the receipt.
I also took my time and ordered custom cups from stanceparts.com
Two cups, my plan was to only use them for the front. The cups are extra large size to accommodate the upgraded swift springs and 14mm shaft.
I also have swift springs and helper springs with adapters,
Anyway, I'm offering a freshly rebuilt set of very expensive coilovers with a custom set of cups for $2500
Offers and trades can be discussed.

Thanks for the kind words, sushiboiii!
My thinking is that I'd put em up for sale, maybe there's someone like myself who wants only the best parts available for his Lexus.
Then I might have more free time and enthusiasm to put them back on the car, so I can enjoy the ride with quality suspension...

So yeah, just looked at the ads - people selling and buying "value-priced" coilovers for their LS.
C'mon, are you serious? This is one of the best cars ever built, and a very expensive one too!
I think it's silly to put cheap parts on such amazing car.
Understandably, quality parts are hard to come by.
Fortunately, there are people who bring stuff from Japan and whatnot, so you can have the top shelf parts.
So the question is, who will be riding with quality shocks and springs? You or me?
I'd be willing to split the coilovers and the cups if you like, I know the cups will fit other quality coilovers, i.e. Parts Shop Max's coilovers also have 14mm shaft.
Not to mention what a great deal this is - I actually found Penske coilovers for Lexus IS here: http://www.rr-racing.com/Racing-Pens...isxfsu0002.htm
$3650! And that's no cups, no upgraded springs, not even helper springs with adapters.
Once again, they have nothing for the LS430.
