You show 2 hood struts but only have 1 part number-there is a different part # for the right and left side.In addition the 90-94 LS400 parts list shows a different number for the hood struts-so it can't be a valid part for the entire run from 90-00 model years.

Well, brad, what I did is have my friend who has done Lexus parts for the past 10 years look it up and tell me what they are for. So that's about how I did my homework. How diid you do yours? Go find someone else to validate your manhood.

Default Sorry but your friend is wrong..

My info comes from Alldata.com and cross referenced with an auto body repair guide for the 90-94 LS400.I just don't want to see anybody go through the trouble to get these parts and find out they are incorrect.I'm secure enough in my manhood, but thanks for asking!

Talking

Thanks, I am most certain your research methods are more dependable rather than that of a Certified Master Lexus Parts Technitian. You should look up what that means. Since you are so certain, here is a photo of the motor, all one has has to do is call the local dealer if it's wrong, then it is and you can stand tall on the mountain like the Lone Ranger at sundown. I'm not trying to take anybody for a ride just trying to make good use of what I got around. I appreciate your grandstanding, you may sit down now. Oh, I wasn't asking about your manhood just fishing. You fell for it hook line and sinker. Impeachement... Your rebuttal... or are we going to end this now and spare all these people your drama? This is a waste of thread space as far as I'm concerned. Thanks for the good laugh.

Default So very verbose yet incorrect still..

The part number is the part number-it's just incorrect for the 90-94 model years. It is a motor for a DIFFERENT year Lexus.Do i have to draw you a picture?
