90-94 Lexus LS400 ROM (Chip) and matching key
90-94 Lexus LS400 ROM (Chip) and matching key.
Dealer charges around $400 for these items. If anyone has a 1st Gen LS400 and the keyless entry has stopped working this should be a nice alternative then purchasing the chip and remote new at the dealership. I am selling the matching chip and key for $135. Just send me a PM if interested. Part numbers and Photos avaliable upon request

Can you specify what year this is for? And also how do you go about getting the key matched to the remote?

There is basically two situations you could be in that would cause your Keyless entry to not work
a) You have the orignal key w/remote and it doesn't work anymore
b) you lost the orignal key w/remote (More expensive to replace this one)
-I was in situation A) My Keyless entry just stopped working and I still had the none working remote (With the the key still cut for my car)
-I purchased a ROM (Chip for car) with matching key (Key was already cut for another car) (This is why it's much cheaper then the dealership)
-I installed the new ROM chip in my car (In the trunk)
-I took the chip out of the head of my key that was cut for my car (The none working one)
-I replaced it with the chip out of the new key which wasn't cut for my car.
-Now I had two matching chips, one inside the car and one in my key that was cut for my car.
-At this point everything worked fine.
In the case of situation B) you can either get the stuff from the dealer, or purchase what I did and then get the lexus dealership to recode your locks to match the already cut key. (Basically make mechanical adjustments to each of your locks in your car one at a time to work with the key that is cut differently)
Not sure how much it costs to get the locks recoded.
Let me know if you have anymore questions
