FS: Tein CS coilovers for 01-06 LS430
This is a set of Aluminum body Tein CS coilovers for the 2001 - 2006 LS 430. The Tein CS is widely regarded among the available coilovers for the LS 430 to offer the best combination of quality, durability, COMFORT, and quiet ride. These are the excellent aluminum body units built before ~ 2006 when Tein switched to steel bodies to reduce manufacturing costs (according to Tein's US representative). I bought these at the very end of the run of aluminum body units and used them for about 25K miles or so. They showed no signs of deterioration in performance or operaton, and they have no leaks or damage. The roads around Northeast Florida where I live are like billiard tables, so they've had an easy life. As you can see in the photos, they look like new.
They come in the original box and packaging with the instruction booklet, wrenches, adjustment tool, and measuring tool. I ran them on the softer end of the setting range -- 5 out of 16 (or 18, I forget) -- and they were about as smooth/comfortable as the factory suspension. When I cranked the valving adjustment up a bit toward the 10-12 range you could tell they felt a bit more sporty with additional damping. The collars are currently at a setting which provided about 1" drop on the front and 3/4" on the rear of my LS 430, but as you can see from where the collars are set in the photos, they could go a quite bit lower (I didn't want my car slammed). Adjustment takes only a few minutes per shock and you can do it without removing the wheels/tires from the car.
I want $1050 for them and will pay shipping in the lower 48 states. Please feel free to contact me here, or at boostjunkie@aol.com.

I never wanted my car very low, so I never drove it set any lower than shown in the photo below. I did drop it another inch or so when I first installed them, but never drove it or made any photos that way. Even at that, there were still a lot of threads left on the shock body for going lower. They are still adjusted the same way they were when the photo below was made, so you can see that they could go quite a bit lower (imagine the collars dropped all the way to the end of the threads). I may have another photo or two of it at home, but I don't have any on this traveling laptop that I have with me now. If you want your car slammed, the CS probably isn't for you. If you want something that goes fairly low but not so low to require additional aftermarket suspension parts to correct the extreme negative camber that results from a major slam, then they are great -- perhaps the best.

I assure you they are exactly as described and pictured. I made the photos about the same day that I posted the thread, and they are packed up and sitting in my garage in front of the Supra awaiting a buyer. I kept them more than 3 years thinking I might use them again, but recently decided to sell off a few excess performance parts and turn that money into guns because my son has gotten interested in shooting. I wish I could have found a set like this instead of paying $1700 or whatever I paid for them!

Yes, what daddykay24 said. The exhaust was built to fit the '01-'03 models which have very minimal exhaust tip cut-outs in the rear valence panel. The small cutouts don't work too well with straight tips, hence the partial turn-down tips on the exhaust that I have for sale. That Parchment '03 in the photo was my first LS, then I sold it to my brother and bought the Flint '05 model pictured in this thread and noted in my signature. The coilovers fit either version, but the exhaust is configured for the '01-'03 only. I assume it would fit the '04-'06, but I'm not sure how the tips would look with the larger cut-outs and I don't have any photos so it'd be a bit of a guess.
