because '93=94 ECUs are very different, as '93 was a mid-gen update for the 1LS400....
wouldn't work well for your supercharged setup anyway. Made for mild NA tune.

I've been thinking... has anyone just thought about making an adapter to hook up this obd2 ecu to a obd1 harness?

given that it's an obd1 ecu (not 2) that would be rather unnecessary.
obdii was intro'd for the '95 model year in the LS.

just exactly what changes were made. If the 90 is OBD1 and the 93 is also, why is it that it will not work? I'm lost..

All technical stuff aside (mostly because I don't know it) the pinouts are different. When i bought this I had hoped to be able to splice in a 93-94 loom, but was advised in another forum that the engines and electrical were different.
