Default WTB: Factory Key Fob 93 LS400

I'd like to get my hands on a used key fob for my 1993 LS 400 instead of paying $300+ new from my dealer.

So, if anyone has one laying around and doesn't need it anymore, let me know.

I'm unsure if the 91-92s will work on my 93 or not...anyone have any ideas?

Thanks guys.

For the keyless entry, the key will have to be programmed to the EPROM chip that is located in your trunk module. Without that, it won't work keyless.

Yes, I'm aware of this.

However, I don't even have the fob itself, hence the thread.

Are you still in need of the key fob?

Actually you need the fob and the chip in the trunk as a pair from the donor car. Plug in the chip and it works.

You can't program the chip.
