I'm looking for a fuel injector from a 98+ LS400 or GS400. 4.0L vvti V8. If any of you know of where I can get just one working injector please lemme know. I could buy 4 injectors w/ on fuel rail for $75 from a salvage yard but I don't really need all of that.

get some seafoam to clean it up first.

have you asked a dealership?

carson sells them for ~$120 before discount or the like.

I tried running some Seafoam through the gas already. No go. I then removed the injector and applied 5v to the pins and it didn't open or even make an effort to open. All the other injectors on that fuel rail open and closes with ease with 5v. I tried tapping on it lightly to dislodge it, soaked the pintle end in Seafoam. Also tried running Seafoam through the inlet end with 70 psi while applying +7v and it still wouldn't open.


I don't have a dealer here that's less than a 2 hour drive from me. I'd rather just buy one used one and save the money to send all 8 injectors to a a shop and have them all cleaned, balanced and blueprinted together. Something like www.cruzinperformance.com does.
