Cool, thank you for the closeups. Can anyone vouch for how hard (or easy) it is to match this to another black car...in other words, would this probably stand out as mismatched?

The scuffs and such arent' too bad...mine looks assaulted with bugs and sand. I could probably scratchX/polish/wax that thing to be pretty decent.

Last question: i see the missing tab you are talking about; how was it mounted on your car? is this a zip tie/super glue type fix, or are we talking fabricating plastic?

Thanks

The missing piece isn`t the only surface the bumper is secured with on that side, there are those bolts sticking out and also the surface that attaches to the wheel well/fender. It wasn`t on my car, I can`t tell how it was secured, I just saw the car before the bumper was taken off and didn`t look how it was attached. To see what kind of fix it takes, you just need to put it on the car and see from there, but I don`t think it will need plastic fabrication, though. Should be something simple.

PD, were/are you some sort of auto body/Lexus specialist? It seems that alot of peeps here ask for your attention when they want the right answer.

What do you guys think....would this be a fairly easy fix to a 99 LS with a much rougher looking bumper cover? would the color match be bad? Is there a DIY or something showing removing and installing one?

My other option is a 400$ paint job I guess

Thanks

methinks that valex's cover would pretty much need a paintjob as well.
