AC blow hot air.Engine temperature gauge went hot.
Happy Fourth everyone.
I drove down to the beach and notice that while I was stuck in traffic, the AC started to blow hot air. My engine temperature started to climb to top of Hot gauge.
As the traffic resolved and my car speed increased, the air got colder. When I got to my hotel, I checked the freon glass level in front of radiator and notice that it is bubbly at idle.
Is this a simple freon charging that is required? Is this a fan clutch problem? Is this a pressure switch?
Thanks ahead.

The problem happens very rarely. It happens when I am driving and suddenly come to stop at a traffic light. When the car moves, the temperature gauge goes down to cold end and A/C starts blowing cold air again. The A/C light is solid during the whole time. I am hoping it happens in a parking lot so I can check the fans. I went ahead and order a freon charge kit.

Found out all the problems.
Looks like the heating issue was just low coolant. Added almost 1 gallon of coolant.
Changed serpentine belt while I had cover off.
Add freon too stop bubbling in glass lens.
I guess it was a combination of engine getting hot that cause A/c to cut off.
Thanks all.

Make sure you have someone who knows what they're doing make sure that the coolant system is bled. If it gets that low, there's the potential that air has made its way into the system. The worst case is that an air bubble gets into your engine and then your engine overheats.
Also, try to find out why the coolant got low. Something else might be broken.
