you have to remove the lower audio controls and then the two side climate control buttons to access the bolts that hold down the navi.

I know that u need to remove the lower radio in order to remove the nav but I don't want to remove the nav I just want to remove the bezel that's on top of the nav...does that make sense?

You have to remove the whole thing to get the bezel off; the navigation unit is held to the bezel with screws that are only accessibly when it's out.

The bezel around the screen is held to the screen by 4 screws IIRC

Search for NAV screen on eBay and you might get a glimpse of where the screws are holding the bezel to the screen itself.

You'll need to remove everything. Including the lower radio to be able to remove the Navigation. Since there are hidden screws crossing over.

You can clearly see the 4 screw slots in the corner. That's what holds the screen to the bezel.
