Default Where is the wheel lock?

Just picked up an '04 LS and I see it has a wheel lock on each wheel. I've looked in the glove box, center console, and the tool kit in the back left side of the trunk but can't find it. Anyone know where else to look?

Thanks...

Should be in the tool box... at least, that's where I keep mine.
If you got it from a dealer, you might take it back and get one.
Might be in the wheel well with the spare... I'd look there for sure.

Mostly usually in the spare well. Should be a small black leather pocket.

Found it there. It was kind of hidden though but at least I know where it is now.

Thanks...

look in glove box for lock registration. you can get a lock key from them. mine came from MCGARD 3875 CALIFORNIA ROAD ORCHARD PARK NY 14127 phone #1-800-444-5847. lock registration paper was with owners manual. hope this helps. otherwise they can break off the studs and replace them.

I also got a spare after finding the card with the owners manual. I suggest you keep it in the toolbox in the trunk. It fits nicely between the two open end wrenches. That way you can access it without lifting the floor of the trunk which requires unhooking the netting and possibly taking items out of the trunk. It makes life easier when you rotate tires or changeover winter tires. Just a suggestion.

Good suggestion. I think I'll do that.

Make sure they give it back to you when wheels are removed for any reason. Lost one that way.

if you just want the locks off, lexus dealers have a master key and can replace with regular lugs. you will pay plenty for that

Everything is a "you'll pay plenty for that" at the dealer. I was shocked at the $265 for a spare smart key.

I'll say that in my case I just wanted to know where the lock was so that I wouldn't be scrambling for it when I actually need it. I found my key so I'm good for now.

I keep it either in the glovebox or center armrest so I always know where it is, and they are the first places a tech looks, too.

Mine came with wheel locks but I took them off at some point and replaced with standard lug nut. The wheel locks were way more trouble then they were worth since no one ever steals wheels/tires where I live or where we take the car.

Haha same here.

I also replaced them since I broke my security key trying to remove a nut before.
