Default Sold 2000 ES300 for this 2001 LS430 - LOVE THIS CAR!

Hi everyone,

Last August (2014) I picked up a 2000 ES300 that only had 37K miles on it. It was a VERY nice car and very well taken care of. I bought it for $7100 and sold for $8200.

I have always been a real wheel drive / V8 kind of guy so I had been on the lookout to upgrade to an LS430. I found this 2 owner beauty on Craigslist and can't say enough about how nice it is and how impressed I am with this car. The previous owner was extremely meticulous about maintenance and taking care of his baby and it really shows. All maintenance was done at local Lexus dealership and Chevron w/Techron gas was the only fuel he would put in it. The only thing I have found wrong with it so far is the telescopic steering wheel won't go in or out, but it will go up and down.

Car has 129K miles on it and runs and rides like new. Color is Mystic Sea Opalescent which I have not seen to many like this. Purchase price was $8400. So not too bad for a $200 upgrade!

Nice pick up. Car looks great. You may want to reposition your shift **** 180 degrees.

Beautiful car in a great pretty rare color. Welcome to the forum. Since it is so clean inside and out you may want to consider getting a new set of OEM Lexus mats before they are unavailable. They can still be had on ebay fairly inexpensively.

Good catch.. I didn't even see it. And +1 on getting the mats while they are still available. Will really help with the overall interior appearance.

Smart move and looks like it was a great buy. As stated earlier, check out the FAQs and the telescoping issue solves. Welcome to LS land!

Nice upgrade, well worth the mileage trade off.

Thanks Jabberwock...that is a great suggestion. Found a set on Ebay in Ecru for $85 from some Lexus dealership.

Thanks,

Congrats, it's a beauty. I used to have a '98 ES300 that was also minty, and it remains one of my favorite cars.

I also recently bought new Ecru factory mats for my '01 LS

Nice purchase, er, upgrade! good looking car. Does it have the Mark Levinson sound system? It looks like it does.

You'll be happy with it.
