I'm owned the LS430 2001.

My ls430 is not support stereo aux, bluetooth.

So, I'm want to connect aux line into a cassette PCB.

Could you show to me the schematic of stereo?

If you are support schematic of stereo. then I'll share the all process of create AUX on LS430 stereo.

This works wonderfully in my 04 LS430, single USB input charges the device as well. I ran the cable behind the NAV unit into the glovebox.

At a very basic level, one of these would work. They sound better than you might think and are cheap enough to give them a try

Grom makes a few adapters that are easy to install. This is what I use.

Anyway. My market place have not enought item for LS430.
And The cassette adapter or FM adapter are have a reduce down sound quility.

So. I'm want to driect input to MY stereo using the modify PCB.

The way of Direct connect is a guarantee of sound quility, I guess.

You're right. I don't have a Grom, but they look great. Simple and easy to install and no butchering of harnesses. They're inexpensive too. Unless the challenge of soldering and modifying a head unit is the goal, I can't imagine why you wouldn't get the Grom, or the VAIS if it suits your needs. I just ordered a VAIS yesterday to be installed this week.

How would you rate the GROM vs. the VAIS? Is there possibly a difference in sound quality or interface simplicity? For $100 less, it would be a great bargain compared to the VAIS if it is equal in quality and sound.

Personally, I like the stereo mini vs Bluetooth. I think it sounds better and you don't deal with pairing etc. Easier to let others play music as well. When using a stereo mini you won't have controls on the steering wheel to advance or reverse tracks. Under USB mode you do.

I purchased the "Android" unit even though I use an iPhone. At the time I had an Android. It has a stereo mini and also will read USB or hard drives. The USB port also allows you to upgrade the firmware.

As far as which one is better, both seem to last. The Grom is cheaper and easier to install. There have been more threads about people with issues with the VAIS unit but this may have to do with the popularity vs reliability. My Grom has been problem free for a couple years now. Either way, they both make good units.

I personally would rather connect to the car's stereo via USB, to charge and play music. I have no desire to use the bluetooth method of streaming music through the speakers. I also like how the GROM will allow the playing of videos, DVDs through the NAV screen. My kids have Kindle Fires that use the same mini USB connection as my S4 and wife's Note 4.

I bought the Ion bluetooth cassette adapter, and sound quality is very good, albeit slightly lower bass levels, but if you adjust settings on your phone it's decent. Paid $30.

I've never heard of a bluetooth cassette adapter. I assume it's just like the regular cassette adapter without the cord.

Yes, it is just like a regular cassette except with some electronics inside. The microphone can be tucked in too if you just want to stream music without using it for hands-free calls but if you want to use it for hands-free calls as well the microphone is short enough to where it's not clutter (as seen in my picture).
