It is too bad. I have ordered lots of parts from them in the past. Here I am looking for a drivers door lock actuator for my 2000 es300 and I'm not sure where to go!

We can take care of you on that item. $139.52 with our Club Lexus discount. Use CL5 in our shopping cart. Just $10 shipping. If you add $11 in parts your shipping will be free. Hope we can do business with you! Thanks!

+1 on Rockauto, thx for the SA Lexus heads up.

Kind of surprised they didn't do this a long time ago. "Refining our area of focus" is code for "going after high margin customers" which was made very clear the one time I stepped foot in their store.

I have no idea how much profit the Internet sales added to their bottom line ..... I also do not know how much time & effort it took to run the Internet sales portion of their business. I suspect that it was high effort and low margin for them to decide to close it down because if it were low effort and high profits, why would anyone shut it down. Companies absolutely love low effort deals that have high margins.

I have used Irontoad.com for brake parts. Amazon sometimes has good prices on some parts like air and oil filters and spark plugs.

Default parts?

It seems that at one time there was a few places that sold parts at reduced prices compared to most dealers , I.e ls430 outside mirrors. Is this still available or have the dealers nixed this?

Much to.my surprise, Sewell Parts is still open. Albeit, via phoneb or in person only. I spoke with Kerry on Tuesday and ordered some brake rotors, pads, and an air filter. CL discount still applies, and it was cheaper on the ground shipping than originating from California.

I enjoyed speaking with Kerry. They will gladly take phone orders and ship to you. I received my parts packaged as always very well, and quickly today.

Great news! Any chance you have the parts direct line? I was unable to find it on their website.

Monday August 31 will be the last day. According to an email exchange I had with them, they have an agreement with Club Lexus that will end at the end of August. While their are others that provide the same service at similar prices, they do not do it as well as Sewell.
