Anyone with a 2001-2003 have a Vaistech SL3B kit in their car. I am looking to purchase one and want to see how they work in the 2003 w/ ML system w/ navigation. Do the steering wheel controls still work, how is the bluetooth connection, and do any text of any kind come up on the screen. Please if anyone has experience with one with any of the years above, please respond to this post. Also if you have experience with any other kits that they think work best.

I have the VaisTech MML (wired not SL3B bluetooth but otherwise same) and yes, the steering wheel controls work, full text is available on the screen. The sound is excellent with the MML, slightly better than the SL3B. VaisTech is the product Lexus dealers install in these older vehicles to upgrade the audio technology.

What is the year and model of your Lexus. ANd does the MML version allow you to use USB devices

I have a 2002 LS430 without ML and Nav, but I do get song titles on my base stereo screen.
I've read it will show more info if you have it connected to a Nav screen.
