i am looking for someone who owns all 3 of the service / repair manuals ( not the electrical, already have that one ) for the 2004 Lexus LS430. i am looking for exactly what each manual covers. possibly a picture of the table of contents from each manual. i have tried calling Helm Inc. for this info and was told they have no idea what each manual covers. i bought manuals for my GS430 ( 2 volume set ) but i never use the 1st manual at all ( really just a diagnostic manual ). i really only use them for diagrams and torque specs. if anyone out there has a set and could snap a couple of pics of the table of contents that would be great. you could even text them to me @ 623-2zero6-8485. thanks.

Volume 1 contains Section 1 through Section 5-1637
Volume 2 contains Section 5-1638 through 5-3287
Volume 3 contains Section 5-3288 through Section 99

Sweet. So manual 1 and 2 really only cover diagnostics ( besides " introduction, preparation and service specifications " in the beginning of manual 1 )? Please let me know. Thanks.

here is a link to them. manual 1 & 2 are $152 each and the 3rd is only $98. this is the best place to buy them new, and most dealers will refer you to them, as most of them get them from Helm Inc. anyways. might as well go directly to the source and try to save a little cash. good luck

Each year might have a different number of volumes, I guess it would probably be however they decide to split them up. Not sure their exact reason. If you have a 2006 then that's a good price for the set of 5 if you need all 5. Helm Inc. sells them for $140 per manual for each volume of 4 but it appears that volume 2 might not be available any longer. Then an additional $137 for the wiring manual.

no problem, but unless your plan on doing a bunch of diagnostics i would only buy the 3rd manual. have a good one.
