Default Cheap Front Lip

Hey guys,
Thought I'd get some opinions and insights about how this lip might look on a white LS430?

Here it is on Ebay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/LEXUS-EZ-LIP-FRONT-BUMPER-CHIN-SPOILER-VALANCE-SPLITTER-BODY-KIT-AIR-DAM-TRIM-/400804797602?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5d51d3dca2&vxp=mtr
Will it make it look much different you think? giving it that subtle lowered look on the front?
Or is it not gonna make a big difference because of how small it looks.

If not, you guys have any suggestions for front lips? Not expensive ones please.

Thanks.

as far as I know this isn't really a front 'lip' , its a universal plastic trim that runs underneath the front bumper.

Its a home depot special , wont look good at all.

I think you could pull it off on a sporty model like the IS but for a luxury car like the LS, it wouldn't fit. Kind of like putting running shorts on an orchestra conductor. But it's your car, your call.

That lip won't look good on the Ls because it isn't really a sport looking car or sport styled bumper. And you might as well not but anything because nothing is cheap. A cheap lip will cost you 300 and then you figure paint another 200 plus remove and install if you don't know how to do it yourself. But it's your car, do it doesn't affect me. IMO that's like saying putting that lip on a minivan will make it look better. Not really. If you do get it, post pics for us to see.

It's literally a home depot garage seal. And it's so flexible that paint doesn't adhere to it well.

Source: I've tried it.

But does it give that stanced lower look?
I'm assuming you tried it on the LS?

I had one on my SC300 and it really made the car look good. A few of my friends have the EZ lip as well and it looks good. The only problem is that it's very easy to tear them up. Mine got pretty beat up in the three weeks I had it on and it had trouble sticking.

You might want to look into the Rhino Lip. I think it's a few dollars more than the EZ Lip but it's more durable and you can paint it.

Ordered one after the folks gave me a good discount.
I'll try it on and see how it looks.

Meanwhile I need to lower my car, thinking of Tanabe NF210.
Any suggestions?

I will be keeping my OEM shocks.

So I got the lip, can't describe how much of a difference it made. Car looks a little bit more aggressive, definitely lower to the ground look. All in all, worth every penny.

The 3M adhesive tape that came on the lip was so strong that it peeled the plasti-dip from under the bumper where I was trying to re-align it.

What I did was, get an exact-o knife and just cut a strip of the plastic dip on the bumper, so the 3M adhesive can hang on to the bumper, without having to worry about it peeling off the plasti-dip. Word, Plasti-Dip is very strong, but not around edges, any knocks around the edge peels it off. That's why I had to give a good clean surface to stick on.

And remember, Plasti-Dip is always as a whole attached to the body, so if you wanna remove a piece, you can easily do it with an exact-o knife

Had to get more 3M adhesive tape, because it dried when I first played it on the plasti-dip. $7 for a roll that fits on the whole lip.

3M adhesive tape application.

Lip from the front.

From the sides.

Clean stance!

Have to thank Stefan at EZ Lip for their great transaction and customer services.

What does this do to improve "stance"

So many people throwing the word around. IMO It doesn't look right man sorry

The deeper lip, makes it look closer to the ground. Not by much, but does so nonetheless.

I threw the word stance to describe the way the car sits on the ground. Doesn't have to mean that I have my fenders rolled and the car is kissing the ground.
