Question about older Vais Sound Linq 2 and Satellite Radio (SL2i)
I need some help from the stereo gurus.
A while back I purchased a SoundLinq2 SL2i for my 2004 LS430. I bought it used and it came with all the cables and the single unit as pictured. It was a smoking deal, so I just bought it without doing much research.
I currently have Sirius XM that was dealer installed by the previous owner (but I don't know how it was done, just that it works)
My question is, if I install this, will I lose the current Satellite radio I have? Do I need a separate Vais Sirius Tuner module to keep Satellite radio? Or can both be incorporated?
Also, does this module not have a analog headphone input jack option? I don't see one, but I wanted to double check I often find it's just easier to run an iPhone or iPod that way that using some sort of software, especially when new devices and OS comes along.
Vais doesn't seem to be very clear about some of these questions, at least on the older models they no longer make, I find the information seems to contradict itself.
Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.

Brad, you should be able to simply plug n' play the VaisTech unit. If the satellite radio you have is factory on your '04 (as it is on '06 - a satellite button on factory radio), the Vais SL2i should simply integrate into your system. Check to see if the unit needs any firmware upgrade before installing it. See: http://www.vaistech.com/site/discontinued/sl2i.php
