Default Where do you guys buy these parts from?

So I'm looking to get my LS430 ready to sell and got a few things I want to take care of. When I purchased the car the check engine light was on (previous owner told me was O2 sensor). In any case, the car ran fine so I didn't let it bother me. About 3 months ago the brake wear light came on too. Now come time for me to part ways with my car, I think I'd want to handle these concerns before I list the car. I had the car scanned and it pulled a P0141 (Bank 1, Sensor 2) and P0161 (Bank 2, Sensor 2). Where is the best place I can buy these O2 sensors from, as well as the rear break sensor?

Sorry for the Noob question, but what is the difference between the $6 Raybestos ones and let's say the $40 Beck Arnley? I'm assuming they all do the same thing?

Nothing. It's just a wire that completes the circuit. When it breaks from excess brake pad wear, the brake light is lit. (i.e. cheaper is better for the brake pad wear wire). Go with OEM or name brand O2 sensors, not the cheapest ones.

I like RockAuto. I have found a few deals here and there cheaper but overall their selection and price is great. Particularly certain sensors. Denso O2 sensor via RockAuto is 68. Lexus of South Atlanta online is $158. Nealy $100 difference on the same OEM part.

use Sewell Lexus if your going to buy OEM parts. they give clublexus members a discount off their website if you register with your clublexus name.

To my experience. Sewell with the CL discount always wins. Price wise and quality wise of course. They only offer OEM parts. But it makes sense to go aftermarket on not such major parts, and save some bucks.

Not all Denso sensors are the same. There are OEM made for a specific manufacturer like Lexus and there are sensors that are made for sale to the public. I did not believe it myself until an owner shop became a part of my family and we had a talk about parts.

Sewell is the best place for dealer parts, huge selection and great prices, oh and super fast delivery even with a cheapest shipping method. I got all my suspension conversion parts and a new radiator from them, only good things to say about Sewell.
